Government to fight for NHI, says Motsoaledi

JOHANNESBURG - The Department of Health says it will fight for the adoption of National Health Insurance.

Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says he's anticipating a court fight over the proposed bill.

The NHI has faced criticism from opposition parties.

In his State of the Nation Address, President Cyril Ramaphosa said the proposed bill will be presented to Parliament soon.
